After Easter we can celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The gift that God has given to humanity through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ is almost too much to comprehend, some see it as beyond belief!
Today's Scripture is the story of doubting Thomas, from John 20: 24-25
"Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."

i think gift of salvation means that god gave us a free gift thru his sacrafice. we just have to accept it and have faith in him.
