"All that we call human history--money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery--[is] the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy."

Scripture for Life - Integrity II

Hello from Florida!  As you know, we are on vacation here in St. Petersburg, having a great time!  It's a lot warmer her, it got up to 91 today!

Here's another post for you, on the issue of keeping it real, which is really another way of saying - maintaining integrity.

The common definition for Integrity is:  adherence to moral and ethical principles - that's from the dictionary.

A simple way of saying it would be; "To do the right thing, all the time, even when no one is looking and you have no worry of being found out."

The scripture verse for today echo's that description;
Proverbs 10:9
"Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out."

For points, please post a comment - can you recall a time when you did the right thing, even if it cost you more or caused you inconvenience, even if you could have gotten away with taking a sort-cut?
